The 2023 Daegu Global Robot Business Forum, held on November 14 at the Inter-Burgo Hotel EXCO, highlighted Daegu’s emergence as a global robotics hub and the growing importance of international collaboration. Keynote speakers discussed the shift from perceptive AI to generative AI, the role of service robots in addressing societal challenges, and emerging innovations in robotics and EVs. A major highlight was the signing of a three-way MoU between Gyeongbuk University, the Quebec Korea Business Association, and the Global Robot Cluster, marking a milestone in cross-border collaboration and strengthening global partnerships in the robotics industry.
