2024 Korean Heritage Month Celebration Event
Celebrating Korean heritage and community leadership on Parliament Hill.
The 2024 Korean Heritage Month Celebration Event marked the first official recognition of Korean Heritage Month by the Senate of Canada. Our team at QKBA was honored to be invited by Senator Yonah Martin to participate in this remarkable inaugural year. Hosted in Ottawa from October 6–7, the program featured a series of prestigious ceremonies and gatherings, including a welcome dinner reception at the Senate, a wreath-laying ceremony at the Canadian Fallen Korean War Memorial, a flag-raising ceremony on the lawns of Parliament Hill, and a National Community Forum. The event concluded with an evening celebration, offering opportunities for networking, cultural exchange, and honoring the contributions of the Korean community in Canada. Dignitaries, veterans, and community leaders came together to reflect on shared history, foster connections, and celebrate Korean heritage in a national setting.
