QKBA had the honor of attending a first-of-its-kind conference organized by PUAC (Peaceful Unification Advisory Council), Montreal chapter, covering Quebec and Atlantic regions. Our team was invited to join this meaningful initiative alongside the local Korean communities. The conference, titled “What if I were born in North Korea?”, drew over 350 participants and was a collaborative effort between PUAC Montreal and Fredericton High School. Attendees had a unique opportunity to listen and exchange with North Korean refugees currently living in Canada, gaining firsthand perspectives on resilience, adaptation, and the path toward peaceful unification.
